How I track all the scammers, spammers, and jerks who call me
Information is power. If someone has your phone number and you don't know who the heck they are, they have power over you. Let me tell you how I take that power back:
I find out exactly who they are, where they work, where they live, and a whole bunch of other information.
That shifts the balance of power back in my favor.
Once armed with information, I use it to inform phone scammers and jerks that they are not welcome to call me. If I were married and a guy had been calling my wife, I might just pay him a little visit at his home or place of work. I'd say, "So are your intentions with my wife honorable? Do you plan to marry her and take her off my hands?"
You will never see some phone scammer more freaked out than when you send them a Cease and Desist order, then call them to follow up. Take the power back. That's all I'm saying.
It is amazingly easy to gain the knowledge you need.
